Antique Continental Walnut Roll Top Desk

Item Details

An antique, circa 1900, Continental walnut roll top desk having a narrow top shelf over two drawers with recessed panels and tiny wood knobs. The roll-top tucks away to reveal the desktop equipped with set of removable drawers, open cubbies and a hinged door flanked by two half pilasters. The base features two aligned drawers supported by turned columnars standing in front of four cabinet doors and a drawer. The piece stands on bracket feet joined by a shaped shelf or footrest. There are no visible maker’s marks.

Condition

- Some cracks especially on bottom part where it meets the floor and scratches and dings consistent with age and use.
