A Louis XV style writing desk. This desk has a rectangular top with serpentine edges, a leatherette inset, and gold tone floral and foliate designs. It features a central inset drawer flanked by a pair of drawers with curved fronts; each drawer is equipped with a gold tone foliate pull and is embellished with gold tone floral and foliate motifs. The piece is supported by cabriole legs with gold tone foliate decoration.
