Hand-Knotted Pakistani Bokhara Accent Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Bokhara wool accent rug made in Pakistan. The small carpet has been worked in shades of teal, magenta, fern, navy, burnt orange, black and white. The design features six large elephant stamp guls arranged in the center of the field. Partial layered pendants are placed to the fields verge and corners. Checkered and barber pole borders flanks the floral medallion devices in the unresolved primary border. There is an additional wide border to the short ends infilled with comb patterns. The rug finishes with double overcast selvedges along with kilim skirts and long natural warp fringe at each end. Unlabeled.
