A set of two mid 19th century hand-tinted fashion plates by Godey’s Fashions. Both prints feature the female fashion of the period. They are labelled to bottom Godey’s Fashions for January 1871, Kimmel Forster, NY and the other Godey’s Fashions for February 1871. Both are matted and set in a wood with gilt inset and glass plated frames. Saw tooth bracket to verso of each.

Condition

- discoloration to images
- creases to both images
- slight tears at the creases
- foxing present of the February print
- toning to both images
- light wear to frames.

Dimensions

- measures one frame; one image measures 10.0" W x 8.25" H.
