A serigraph print on ceramic tile after a poster for Cachou Lajaunie by Italian painter and illustrator Francisco Nicolas Tamagno (1851-1933). This print depicts a well-dressed woman raising two tins of the licorice candy toward a line of waiting men, the words ‘CACHOU LAJAUNIE’ set in bold writing toward the center of the composition. There is a line of text reading ‘Recommandé Aux Fumeurs Chauffeurs Cyclistes Etc…’ to the lower edge, along with reproductions of the original publisher’s information. The print is illegibly signed in plate to its lower right and is presented in a wooden frame with gold tone detailing, hanging brackets to its verso.

- dust to surface and frame; minor marks to frame; backing is somewhat loose.
