Vintage Art Nouveau Style Brass Double Inkwell

Item Details

A vintage Art Nouveau style brass double inkwell featuring two lidded inkwells with pierced finials to the lids and swag and cherub style design to the wells. The wells are connected by an ornate arabesque style handle and rest in a pierced base with arabesque designs and scalloped rim. The base rests on four bun feet. There are no discernible maker’s marks.

Condition

- one of the lids’ hinges is broken; oxidation throughout; some dust.
