19th Century German Bowl with Flowers

Item Details

A 19th century German china bowl. The oval bowl has a scalloped edge embellished with alternating blue bands and gilded leaves arranged in a radial pattern, open side handles rimmed in blue and accented with gilded foliate designs. To the center is a lovely hand painted floral motif featuring spring flowers in pastel shades. The bowl is marked to the verso with ‘Made in Germany’ and artist’s marks.
