Item Details
A watercolor and gouache painting on leather of the prophet Moses with the ten commandments. This piece, rendered with dark lines and rich color wash on shaped leather, depicts the figure with a long gray beard, the tablets lifted in one hand. The work is scattered with Hebrew writing, the words ‘Moshe Rabenu’ toward the lower left. The piece is presented with a printed reproduction with the commandments written in English, and is mounted in a molded wooden frame with a wire for hanging to its verso.

- light wear to frame finish; glass has been removed; minor marks to surface; light wrinkling.
