Iridescent Gold Lamp Shades Including Quezal Glass
Item Details
A pairing of Art Nouveau style lamp shades including Quezal Glass. Each piece feature a rich iridescent gold finish with blue and violet highlights. The bell shaped body is accented with a ribbed motif. One shade bears a stamp to the inner sconce: ‘Quezal.’ The other bears no discernible maker’s marks. Quezal was inspired by the name of a brightly colored tropical bird. The company produced art glass between 1901-1925. These shades are dated to the early 20th century.

- minor chips to edges; various minor marks and wear to finish; faint scuffs.
