An antique Dresden porcelain platter from Carl Thieme, Saxonian Porcelain Factory. This item shows a shaped, footed form with a pierced rim and handles. It has been hand painted with a bold, colorful floral spray to the well and smaller flowers to the rim with gilded trim and details. It is marked to the underside with a Carl Thieme backstamp, dating to 1901.

- faint surface marks and light wear to pattern and gilding.
