John Van Derveer and Other Coin Silver Spoons with Duhme & Co. Sterling Spoon

A early to mid-19th century collection of four coin silver spoons and a sterling spoon. Each piece features a pointed oval bowl on a fiddle handle with pointed shoulders and personalized engraving, stamped to the back with a maker’s mark. This includes a spoon by W.B. Stanley, two spoons by John Van Derveer of Somerset, NJ (active 1800-1830), and a spoon by Isaac Garrison of Pittsburgh, PA (active c.1850-1860). Also presented is a sterling silver spoon by Duhme & Co.of Cincinnati, OH (active 1844-1896). The total approximate weight is 3.339 ozt
