Item Details
An oil painting on panel of a landscape by artist Karl Herzog (b. 1902). This painting is loosely rendered in warm shades of blue and green, depicting a glassy pond lined by dense shrubbery and a line of open fields visible to the distance. This work is signed ‘K Herzog’ to its lower right and includes a plaque reading ‘Herzog’ to the lower edge of its molded gold tone frame. There is a hanging wire and artist’s biography present to the verso.

- worn frame finish; heavy discoloration and foxing; staining to surface; wear to verso with tape throughout backing.
