Antique "Cheshire Railroad" Cast Iron Car
Item Details
An antique cast-iron railroad boxcar. Constructed of a heavy iron material, this car has the original decals on the sides that reads ’ Cheshire R.R.’ on the sides. Painted in the original color of red burgundy, the boxcar’s cast iron wheels mechanism is attached and is in working order. The side doors are also functional. No manufactured’s mark or name is identified.
Condition
The boxcar exhibits edge and service age wear. Oxidation and pitting wear. Wear consistent with age.
