Hand-Tufted Oriental Weavers "Regency" Wool and Silk Area Rug

A hand-tufted area rug in the Regency pattern by Oriental Weavers. Made of wool with silk accents, this Chinese-made rug features an all over pattern of scrolling acanthus leaves and small round leaves dotted with flowers, in a palette of cream, ocher, pink and olive on a black field. The field is bordered by two patterns presenting pink and red stripes tied with acanthus leaves and a running sausage-and-bead pattern. The edges are serged and overstitched in black. The rug is labeled on the underside.
