An original antique watercolor by Edwin Aaron Penley (United Kingdom, 1826-1893). The painting is signed, ‘E.A. Penley’ and dated 1871 in ink to lower left. It depicts a landscape with woman walking a trail alongside placid lake with sunlit mountains in the background. It is presented under glass with natural finished oak frame with applied carved foliate decoration and gilt liner. It has wood back panels and a wire to the verso, ready to hang.
