Item Details
A vintage Modernist LC4 chaise lounge chair by Le Corbusier, with Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand, for Cassina. The two-piece frame features a chromed-steel, tubular seating platform, which has been contoured to reflect the body’s natural resting position. It is covered by a full-length, black leather pad over elasticized straps and fitted with a removable neck roll. The seating platform rests on a four-legged, steel base finished in black enamel, on which the platform can be adjusted into a number of reclining angles. The seating platform and the enameled base both bear Cassina maker’s marks while the seating platform is additionally stamped ‘LC 4’ and ‘25280’. The strap hardware is marked ‘Intes / Patented’.
