A late 20th-century limited edition color etching on heavyweight rag paper by American artist Joan Purcell. The piece depicts a circular portrait of a female nude figure with long red hair, shown seated on the ground and hugging her knees. She is depicted in side profile against a deep blue sky, set to the center of a decorative pink and blue border that resembles a crocheted doily. The print is signed in graphite to the lower center and numbered as 4 out of an edition of 250. It is presented in a floating aluminum frame.

Condition

- toning and discoloration to print; small hole to paper ground at the top left; crease to ground at lower right; minor wear and scratching to frame; front glass of frame has been removed; no hanging hardware present.
