A charcoal drawing on paper titled Girl and Dog by Indiana artist R. Brinton Crocker, also known as Brent Crocker. This breezily-rendered work depicts a woman sitting in a deck chair with a spotted dog clutched to her chest, her head leaned back so her light hair spills out over in glossy folds behind her. The piece is matted under glass in a slim metal frame with a hanging wire to its verso, an exhibition label mounted to its upper left. Crocker was a faculty member of Purdue University’s Art and Design department.
Condition
- discoloration to surface of paper; light wear to frame.

Measurement is for the frame. The drawing measures 25.5″ × 30″ through the front of the mat.
