A hand-knotted Persian Sarouk carpet runner. This wool rug features a vase design incorporating sprays of flowers over a ruby field. The palette is ruby, midnight blue, cream, sage and rose. Framing the field are compound borders, including meandering floral patterns over cream and midnight blue. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing with short warp fringe at each end. Unlabeled.
