Antique English Victorian Walnut Dressing Table with Mirror and Stool
Item Details
An antique, circa 1880, Engish Victorian, walnut dressing table with mirror and stool. The tilting mirror is housed in a fluted walnut frame with a broken pediment supported by two arched brackets above the vanity’s top. The brackets have carved daisy or sunflower corners and the top is equipped with two glove boxes having brass pierced plates and bail handles. The dressing table has two aligned and dovetail joined drawers with the same hardware and routed details. The table rises on turned legs on casters joined by three stretchers. Included in a stool, circa 1920-1940, having a flower cushioned top over a walnut base rising on rope turned legs and ball feet. There are no visible maker’s marks.
