Antique American Empire Mahogany Worktable

Item Details

An antique, circa 1825-30, American Empire mahogany worktable having a plank top with an attached rounded edge over three drawers. The drawers feature,later added, Victorian brass ring pulls on shaped plates and keyhole escutcheons. The drawer fronts and stiles are flame mahogany veneered. The piece rises on turned and acanthus leaf carved legs ending on casters. There are no visible maker’s marks.
