Vintage Kosta Boda "End of Day" Glass Shade

A vintage glass shade by Kosta Boda of Sweden. This end of day piece is swirled with marbled white, rust, sepia, and goldenrod chips of glass. It features a bulb shape with a round sconce to the base, marked with a ‘Boda’ label indicating production prior to 1976. This piece was likely created by glassworkers using up ends of molten glass at the end of the workday or by “marveling” spots of colored glass onto a sheet of molten glass.
