S. Kirk & Son "Repoussé" Sterling Silver Serving Utensils

A five-piece collection of Repoussé sterling silver serving utensils by S. Kirk & Son. Each item is embellished with the iconic repoussé floral design first introduced in 1828. Featured are a pair of claw sugar tongs and one flat handle mayonnaise ladle, each bearing a personalized engraving. They are accompanied by one carving fork, one carving knife and one pie server – all featuring hollow handles with stainless steel blades and prongs. The tongs and ladle are marked ‘S. Kirk & Son Co.’ (1896-1924) and the other items bear 20th century variations of the maker’s mark. The total approximate weight, excluding the three hollow handle items, is 2.270 ozt.
