Antique Vincenti French Bracket Clock

Item Details

A Vincenti Clockworks French bracket clock featuring hardwood construction with dark mahogany veneers. The case boasts an ogee curve top and reeded inset columns to the front. The case is highlighted with lighter hardwood inlays in a foliate and shell pattern around the white metal clock face and on the base and the clock sits on bracketed feet with brass caps. This clock is accented with a brass handle, bezel and stylized oval insets on the side. The brass clockworks are accessed through a brass door in the back and are marked, ‘Madaille D’argent Vincenti 1855’ H&H made in France 1934 81.’ The key is included inside.

Condition

- very light cracking in the front veneer, split in the back, untested
