Chippendale Style Breakfront Secretary Desk

Item Details

A vintage Chippendale style mahogany secretary desk with a broken-arch pediment and center finial, over a blind fretwork frieze and break-front bookcase. The facade has a framed door and two sidelight doors, each having framed glass panels with geometric muntins, over a divided interior with adjustable shelves. The base cabinet features a desk drawer with hinged front, two small drawers and pigeon holes, flanked by two drawers, above three flame veneered doors with trimmed panels, above ogee bracket feet. Circa 1940s.
