Item Details
A pair of vintage Seguso Vetri D’Arte Murano scavo glass bowls. Each cube shaped vessel features thick, flat rims and deep wells with a scavo finish to the exterior. Each piece bears a sticker that reads ‘Seguso Vetri D’Arte, Made in Italy’. The company was in operation between 1932-1972. Scavo, meaning unearthed, denotes a chemical process that creates a weathered surface, reminiscent of archaic glass.
