A hand-colored engraving on paper from Fore’s Coaching Recollections titled The Olden Time, with aquatint engraving by British engraver Henry Papprill (1816-1903) after an original engraving by John Harris and painting by British painter Charles Cooper Henderson (1803-1877). This print depicts a coach depot where horse-drawn carriages are being loaded and tied for deliveries and journeys. It is titled to the lower center, with the collection name printed to the upper center and artists’ names printed to the lower corners. This print is presented behind a double mat and glass in a wood frame with wire to the verso for hanging.
