Vintage "Grape-Nuts" and "Hi-C" Advertising Tins
Item Details
A pair of vintage breakfast foods advertising tins. This selection includes ‘Grape-Nuts,’ and ‘Hi-C.’ The Grape-Nuts tin lithograph can is from the 1920s-1930s and consists of the colors of black and mustard yellow. ‘Grapenut Cereal’ was produced by the ‘Postum Cereal Company’ Battle Creek, Michigan, which is marked on the can in black lettering. This antique can retain its original lid on top. The ‘Hi-C’ has a paper label and is missing its lid. This colorful1940s-1950s tin’s label maintains its colorful paper label featuring a tall glass of ‘Orange-Ade’ on its front.
