Baker George III Style Secretary Bookcase

Item Details

A George III style, secretary bookcase in mahogany, by Baker Furniture. The bookcase features a broken-arch pediment with scrolled fretwork, above a dentil molding and satinwood veneered frieze. The two framed doors have glass panels with elliptical-shaped muntins, over a slant-lid and three drawers with brass bail handles, all having satinwood borders. The case rests on bracket feet. The interior has an arched, satinwood valance and drawer with five pigeon holes.
