Item Details
A semi-antique hand-knotted Persian Mehriban wool accent rug. This small rug is rendered in a palette of fuchsia, indigo, cranberry, sky blue, wheat, and rose. The fuchsia hued field begins with a small floral shaped central medallion with flower filled vases at each end, and accompanied by flowering branches, sprays, and arrangements throughout. Framing the field is a main border of a floral meander with a number of blooms, and guard borders in a chained diamond pattern. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and an ivory warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
