Hand Thrown and Signed Stoneware Raku Vases
Item Details
A collection of three signed, hand thrown stoneware raku fired vases. Included are an ovoid vase with a matte blue and black raku glaze, showing carbon trapping from the firing process and having a bamboo handle to the top. It is stamped ‘Rinny’ to the lower edge. Also included is a raku fired ovoid vase with a narrow opening to top signed ‘Thomson’ to the underside, having allover copper flashing with metallic copper reds, greens and yellows, showing carbon trapping. Also included is a tapered ovoid vase with a wide opening to the top, having a white crackle raku glaze around the shoulder with incised designs, and a multi-colored raku glaze. It is marked ‘C Malli Hawaii 2004’ to the underside.
