A serigraph print on paper attributed to Sylvia Birch Halperin (1931-1984). Depicted is an expanse of blue pigment with purple borders and green detailing around the side. Piece is without artist’s signature but includes an estate stamp to the verso. Print is presented as loose work without mat or frame.

Sylvia Birch Halperin studied at the Art Institute of Chicago. She participated in juried shows, had one and two person shows and group shows. Her artwork has been represented by Jan Cicero Gallery, Kathryn Markel Fine Art Ltd, Neill Gallery, and the Baum-Silverman Gallery. Selected collections have been featured at establishments such as The Art Institute of Chicago, Israel Museum, Te;; Aviv Museum, Borg-Warner Corporation, Standard Oil Company, City of Chicago, University of North Carolina, and Blue Cross-Blue Shield.
