Guillaume Azoulay Portfolio of Embellished Zodiac Etchings

A portfolio of twelve limited edition gold leaf embellished zodiac etchings on paper by listed artist Guillaume Azoulay (Moroccan, b. 1949), created circa 2006. This collection of prints feature each zodiac symbols rendered in fine detail and embellished with gold leaf. They are each edition 70 out of 70 and are signed and dated in graphite to the lower margin. Each print is accompanied by its own certificate of authentication and are all presented together in a pristine black leather portfolio.

Azoulay is well-known for his abstract paintings. Born in Morocco, the artist and his family moved to Paris when he was a boy. Largely self-taught, Azoulay sold paintings in the Paris streets to tourists. Later, the artist received a degree in drama after being rejected from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. The artist has exhibited throughout the Middle East, Europe, and the United States. Currently settled in California, the artist’s work can be found in numerous private and public collections, including two pieces in the Louvre.
