"Blue Onion" Tableware including Carl Teichert and English Meissen

A collection of Blue Onion tableware including Carl Teichert and English Meissen. These fifteen porcelain plates are in the Blue Onion pattern which have Chinese style origins and feature scalloped edges and a central floral design banded by the blue onion/bulb design. There are eight plates in two different sizes marked to the edge with a crown over a poppy reading ‘Meissen England.’ The remaining plates include two six plates total in two different sizes and copper lined warming plate also in the blue onion pattern but marked to the underside ‘Meissen’ with a star. This mark is attributed to Carl Teichert Meissen Oven and Porcelain Manufacturers.
