A selection of handwoven Mexican textiles suitable for use as rugs or blankets. One piece has been worked in shades of black, brown, sand, ivory, and scarlet. There are symmetrical random width stripes at each end. The center features a rendering of the Mexican golden eagle and rattlesnake and stylized S-shapes frame field. The selvedges are overcast and there is fringe at each end. The second textile is woven in abrash shades of coffee brown and corn. The pattern alternates light and dark stripes infilled with a geometric design in the contrasting color. The selvedges are overcast and there is knotted fringe at each end. The group also includes a fleece blanket with geometric patterns in brick, gold, black, and white and a fringed throw pillow.
