The work depicts Jeanne Samary (French, 1857 – 1890) on a swing with the artist’s friend Norbert Goeneutte (French, 1854 – 1894) and brother Edmond (French, 1849 – 1944). The item is presented in a composite wood frame under acrylic glass and layered matting.
