A reproduction halftone print on paper titled Melting Universe after an original work by well-listed arist Salvador Dalí (Spanish, 1904 – 1989). Signed ‘Dalí’ by an unknown hand to the lower portion of the print. Housed in a composite frame under acrylic glass and fabric matting.

Dalí was born in Figueres, Spain to Salvador Dalí y Cusi, a lawyer and notary, and Felipa Domenech Ferres. His mother encouraged his artistic pursuits a eccentricities. In 1922 Dalí enrolled at the Academia de San Fernando in Madrid, Spain. It was during this time that he went to Paris started interacting with Picasso, Magritte, and Miro leading to his first Surrealist phase. Dalí is best known for his Surrealist painting, drawing, photography, and sculptures. His works are housed in many private collections and museums across the globe.
