A moriage decorated floral Nippon pitcher. This Nortitake pitcher features a floral motif in white, yellow, red and green to the body along with a moriage geometric and floral gilded band. The scalloped rim and base are embellished with a moriage geometric and scroll themed gilded highlight and the curvilinear handle is also gilded. The piece is marked to the underside, ‘Hand Painted Nippon’ with a maple leaf.
