A limited edition offset lithograph on paper after an original work titled St. George and the Dragon by well-listed artist Salvador Dalí (Spanish, 1904 – 1989). Dalí’s signature is printed to the lower right margin. Editioned in graphite by an unknown hand to the lower left margin. Number 234 in a limited edition of 500. Housed in a gilt composite frame under acrylic glass and a double layer of matting. To the verso is a certificate of authenticity.

Dalí was born in Figueres, Spain to Salvador Dalí y Cusi, a lawyer and notary, and Felipa Domenech Ferres. His mother encouraged his artistic pursuits a eccentricities. In 1922 Dalí enrolled at the Academia de San Fernando in Madrid, Spain. It was during this time that he went to Paris started interacting with Picasso, Magritte, and Miro leading to his first Surrealist phase. Dalí is best known for his Surrealist painting, drawing, photography, and sculptures. His works are housed in many private collections and museums across the globe.
