Early 1900s Nebraska Maps with Book

An assemblage of early 1900s Nebraska maps and a book. The large map book has original pages that depict the layout of David City, Nebraska. The maps are dated 1909. The maps were created by Sanborn Map Company, located in Chicago, Illinois. The book is titled, S. D. Butcher’s PIONEER HISTORY of CUSTER COUNTY and Short Sketches of Early Days in Nebraska, published in 1901. There is a trading card from the early 1900s advertising goods for ’Herpolsheimer’s Cash Dry Good House’, which was located in Lincoln, Nebraska. The card portrays a young woman relaxing in a chair.
