A collection of vintage Michael Lee Micale dolls. This selection of seven Chinese character cloth dolls were hand crafted and signed by Hong Kong artist Michael Lee in the 1980s. Each showcases hand-painted facial features arranged in a smiling expression, raven yarn hair, straw hats, and outfits comprised of cotton and silk. Included are a pair of Chinese mothers with their babies on their backs (#403) and a woman with braids wearing a floral print kimono (#404), among others. The foot of one is signed and dated by the artist.
