A collection of seven coin silver spoons and an 850 silver spoon with wooden display. The coin silver spoons by Andrew Comstock Benedict of New York, NY (active 1828-1888), feature pointed oval bowls on tipped fiddle handles with personalized engravings. They include five teaspoons and two tablespoons, all stamped to the back with the ‘A.C. Benedict’ maker’s mark. They are presented with an 850 silver spoon that has a tipped fiddle handle and a flat edged bowl, stamped to the back with four pseudo hallmarks. Each spoon has a personalized engraving to its handle, and the group comes with a hanging wooden display. The total approximate weight for the seven coin silver spoons is 6.095 ozt., and the approximate weight of 850 silver spoon is 0.770 ozt.
