Porcelain Including Antique Richard Klemm Dresden
Item Details
An assortment of porcelain tableware featuring an antique Richard Klemm teacup and saucer depicting couples outdoors with alternating panels of floral sprays on pink ground and gilt scroll patterns to the wide scalloped edges. The pieces were produced before 1917 and are marked ‘RK Dresden Germany’ to the underside. The Bawo & Dotter Limoges platter offers a pink rose bud pattern and gilding to the asymmetrical edges. It was produced in France between 1900-14 and marked ‘Elite Works’ to the underside. Also included is an L. Straus & Sons covered sugar bowl (1880-1920), an antique hand-painted floral sugar bowl with creamer pitcher, a Victoria ‘Louis XIV’ sugar bowl (1891-1918), an antique Lenox milk pitcher (1896-1906) and Bassett Limoges plate. The pieces are marked by the makers to the undersides.
Condition
- large plate shows some staining and crazing; small pitcher shows some staining to interior; others shows some light discoloration, some paint wear.
