1950s Hanako "Japanese Doll with Six Wigs" and Gofun Composition Doll
Item Details
A pair of hand-painted vintage Japanese dolls and wall mount display. This selection includes Hanako’s Japanese Doll with Six Wigs featuring a hand-painted doll in a pink kimono with six intricately styled wigs accented with flowers and cloth. Each piece is enclosed in compartments within the labeled wooden box. Also offered is a composition doll with black horse hair, brown inset glass eyes, and hand-painted facial features. He is clad in an orange kimono with a sash at the waist, and does not bear a visible maker’s mark. Additionally, a hinged wooden wall mount display painted white.
