A pair of vintage lithograph prints titled En Revenant De La Foire and Une Escouade de Reservistes by French Illustrator Edmond Lavrate (1829 – 1888). These satirical illustrations depict scenes from the French Infantry Reserves during inspection and French village country life after the fair. Both pieces are marked in plate with the artists signature to the lower margins. One print is presented behind a cream colored matt under glass in black with gold toned wood frame..

Condition

- fair to poor; discoloration, fading, staining, and binding holes to the center of both prints and matts; tape on the glass front; frame has scratching, chipping, and denting; some tearing, holes, and water damage to the paper backing of framed piece.
- some wear, scratching, chipping, discoloration, and denting to be expected with age and use.
