Vintage Hand Painted Porcelain Serveware Including Vohenstrauss
Item Details
A collection of vintage porcelain tableware. Featured in this group is a platter from Vohenstrauss, Bavaria. The oval platter has a slightly scalloped rim with gilt trim and has been hand decorated with a berry and blossom motif to the rim. It is marked to the underside, dating it to the mid 20th century. Also included are two hobbyist painted bowls with white and yellow daisies, signed by May Brash and dated to the underside 1/9/96. Accompanying these items are five porcelain bowls with pierced rims, floral motif and gilt detail.
Condition
- faint surface marks from prior use and age; wear to gilding on bowls.
