A colorful West African Fang mask and Ivory Coast Guro spirit mask. The elongated West African mask features a face with small eyes, prominent nose and open mouth. It is hand carved and painted in a cubist manner in white, black, cobalt blue, rust and ochre with a textured finish to all but the black paint. The Ivory Coast spirit mask is an elongated multi-colored mask with pronounced eyes, nose and mouth on a red face. It is hand carved and topped with an orange bird. Other colors in the palette include pink, blue, white, black, green and yellow.
