Offset Lithographs of Birds After Andres Orpinas and Sir William Jardine

Item Details

In Plate

A selection of three offset lithographs on paper with one after Andres Orpinas (19/20th Century) and two after Sir William Jardine (1800-1874). The first piece reproduces a painting that depicts two songbirds perched on a branch over their nest, in which three eggs are nestled. It is signed in plate to the lower right. The other two are ornithological illustrations that depict a chimney swallow and a green woodpecker. These are titled to the lower center and have the artist’s name printed to the lower corners. All three prints are presented behind glass with the larger in a wood frame and the smaller two in black wood composite frames. All have hanging hardware to the versos.
