Antique Trolley Car and Bus Photographs With Stock Certificate
Item Details
A variety of trolley and bus photographs. This selection includes circa 1900s ‘Omaha Street Railway’ Trolly photograph depicting a car with two workers alongside. Accompanying this Trolly photograph is a 1903 ‘Omaha Railroad Company’ stock certificate for ‘100 shares.’ There is also a group of eleven bus photographs representing such companies as ‘Union Pacific’ and ‘Burlington.’ These black and white photographs capture the early buses that provided transportation to Americans in the 19th and 20th centuries. Most of these black and white photos are identified and vary in age. Some are vintage, others from the original negative. Nine of the eleven bus photographs are vintage.
Condition
Good Condition overall with edge and surface age wear. Touched rounded corners. The stock certificate has been folded with some foxing and soiling. Some written notations on the backsides.
Dimensions
The measurements reflect the size of the photographs when stacked.
