A pair of Tufts University black painted Windsor chairs by Nichols & Stone. Each chair features a shaped crest rail with a gold tone decal bearing the Tufts University crest over incised, gold accented spindles, cherry finished arms with scrolled handholds and a contoured seat. Each chair rises on four, splayed turned legs joined by stretchers. A dedication plaque is mounted to each back, with the manufactures stamp to the underside.
